OK. A geography question. What percentage of ordinary Americans or British people do you think can identify on an atlas the location of the following nations -

Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Vietnam ....er, Russia ?

Think small.

For all of those identified, I would say 10%. To be able to identify any of them on a map, 100% (everybody would be able to identify Russia :o) )

Americans 2%
British 20%

If the current American Presidents geography is representative of all Americans then 5%. With the British a little more, maybe 2 in 10.

I agree that the 'real' answer (and not just my own opinion) wouldn't be much higher...if at all!

Ordinary Brits about 85 %

I think 25%.......and no more....:D

......but that's not only for Americans and British.....I think most people couldn't exactly identify those nations. Some people don't even know what nations are around their own country:

I`m in NY and 80% of these idiots couldn`t find NY on a map or globe
