Try the Marian Keyes series if you are into girly books... they are perfect for holidays !!
I recently read 3 books written by her - ANGELS, LAST CHANCE SALOON and THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STORY
they are funny, nicely written, light and there were moments when i was actually smiling !!

For going on holiday i normally take along an easy read. I want to relax my mind as well as my body so nothing too taxing and heavy.
I loved Sophie Kinsella and her Shopaholic series. Try any one of those but it is best to start with her first book.

The Perks of being a Wallflower. i think of the author#s Stephen Chbosky. This e book became into fairly astounding/ i could no longer placed it down and the protagonist's perceptions have been astute and deeply moving in places. it fairly is somewhat dark for trip reading in some factors however the uplifting bits in others incredibly make it worth reading.
