Yes it will the thermal glue on the processor will break down faster and the battery and capacitors will lose there life, lasting shorter and shorter and after periods of time.
Also the LCD screen film will fade a lot faster and the light bulb in your LCD can even crack leaving no picture

It is likely to cause damage to the hard drive and possible other components. There may be enough heat to cause warping of elements within which would result in damage.
It is essential to keep the processor at a reasonable temperature. Why do you think that computers have fans and heat sinks?
What ever you do make sure you have backed up your data before leaving it in the car!

In general it is not a good idea to do that. Extreme heat in the day and then cold in the night and cycling this over and over will not be good for your laptop.

it could, i wouldnt risk leaving my $1500 laptop in my car because it may get damaged or stolen.
