In 1895, Charles Jenkins and Thomas Armat of
Atlanta, Geogia publicly demonstrated an image projecting device and called it as Phantoscope. Because of the problem between the two and finally Armat got the credit due to legal authority. Armat sold rights to Kinetoscope Co., This co., approached Thomas Edison to improve the equipment and the current form film projector came into being in 1896.

Thomas Edison 1893
Bell took out a patent on his first crude phone in 1876. George Eastman came up with the Kodak in 1888. Thomas Edison invented the movie projector in 1893. About the turn of the century, man had acquired enough knowledge to produce radio. Television made its appearance almost 30 years later.
