I have today off and its hot any suggestions

I didn't know chickens barked, how odd. Um anyways go swimming go to the mall and cool down.

Go to a nice air conditioned theater and watch a good movie. Then to a nice little restaurant for a light lunch of a fruit salad and a glass of white wine.
Now, it's time for a little walking around the mall and a little shopping.
If you live near water, now would be a good time to go sit by the lake/ocean at a little cafe for an iced coffee. Then back home to nice little dinner and an episode of Hell's kitchen.
Just a couple thoughts.... I wish I had the day off too then we could do all that fun stuff together!
