Brock seems to think she's not all female. She's one of my favorite characters but I can't figure it out.

Many of the people on the show seem to think she's a transsexual but there is no confirmation one way or the other. I'd guess yes, though.

I prefer to not dwell on it, however, has anyone noticed the adam's apple? Even if Dr. Girlfriend were all female, do you still think that would be attractive when combined with the voice. I think that the Monarch and Phantom Limbs(gotta love that name) are the only viable relationship partners for Girlfriend. I do not think they care either way as long as there is the appearance of a female. I know this does not really answer the question, but it is just too creepy to call.

Man, that show is great!!!
Yeah, it's a girl...the voice thing is just to add humor via the ambiguity of her gender. It's supposed to make you say "Hmmmmm....". But I got season 1 on DVD and as far as I can tell, it's a chick. And if so, the real question is: How the hell did the nerdy, fruity Monarch score THAT?
