You can't handle the truth! Son, we live in a world that has walls. And those walls have to be guarded . Who's gonna do it? You or me? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for truth and you curse the profiles. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know: that womens profiles, while tragic, probably saved lives. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives...You don't want the truth. Because deep down, in places you don't talk about at parties, you want profiles to reveal. You need profiles to tell.
We use words like honor, code, loyalty...we use these words as the backbone to a life spent defending something. You use 'em as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then questions the manner in which I provide it! I'd rather you just said thank you and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a mouse and go joy riding and stand a post. Either way, profiles are the hidden image to protect females from bashers and perverts. Which one are you is the question here!!

Most women hide their identity on the Internet because some of them do not want to show their photos on line as their photos can appear on unwanted sites.
Others are to shy to show their photos as they think that their photos are not worthy enough to be viewed by others.
Some are to young to be on the net searching for friends so they leave some parts of the form unanswered so that the authorities would allow them on chat rooms that are considered to be adults only.

Well Yahoo only let's you put on your actual picture when your 18. Some people may want to conceal themselves because they don't want to get tangled in some sexual assault thing. Also some boys can talk without sympathy about what we look like. I myself don't have my picture up because I'm not old enough for Yahoo 360.

Because we get harassed by men twice our age thinking that we must be desperate or something.
Because guys gets hung up on what we look like, and so do girls I admit.
Because I don't like receiving emails from strangers saying 'hey, I saw your pic and I liked it'. Flattering but not from a stranger.

because of ppl that ask things like this,not that your a stalker or anything,but with all the things that has happen to other women it's better to be safe then sorry
