It all depends on the event and how you FEEL the day you wake up-- sometimes you feel like matching your eyeshadow to your shirt. Sometimes you have a great skin day and wear nothing-- maybe a lil lip gloss or a lil concealer-- its all about how you feel. NEVER feel yu HAVE to do either look in the mirror and be happy--- with or without but if you feel like it do it. I love to wear crazy makeup sometimes and others I dont-- but never do the caked on look--- NEVER good.... you want to bring out the good things not over do it or feel like you have to keep touching it UP-- feel as comfritable as POSSIBLE

It actually depends. Generally staying natural is cool. I personally prefer the natural look with a little hint of makeup - may be some lipstick or thin eyeliner - some powder to work with the oily skin - but nothing heavy and too showy.

In case of parties - especially at night - i think it is better to put on some makeup - a little heavy ones. naked lips or naked eyes are very trendy now - but they too come as a result of a good blend of makeup. so you just have to learn how to look naturally glamorous even in the parties with the help of the add-ons.

The feeling that the beauty is natural, tends to have a more lasting impression - so better go for it! Even if you are wearing a lot of makeup do not let others realize that.

In between! Only use makeup to ENHANCE your features. Never, EVER put lots of makeup. No matter what. Well, only for a proffesional makeover you will probably have a lot, but otherwise, keep it noticeable but subtle. Less is always good, but more is always tricky. Why? Because if you put a lot, then you're just hiding yourself and your so-called beauty is only fake. And that's just sad; nothing is sadder than beauty made from illusion. Keep it at least moderately real. I'm not saying I'm always nice and natural, but at least I know what's right. Sometimes it's okay to "cheat" a little, like, in the morning if you think you really do look terrible. But take breaks. Remember to let your face BREATH. It needs it... otherwise, you'll be forced to hide bad skin actually caused from makeup! Just like celebrities- EXACTLY like celebrities, in fact. They start by putting makeup young, end up with bad skin and are trapped by continuing with even more makeup all the time... anyway, I thought it was obvious, but natural is always better than lots. But if you can balance, great!

Thank you for reading and good luck! :)

Natural, lots of makeup is actually quite hard to pull off.

When you feel yuck, apply a good matt foundation and invest in a good concealor.

Put the focus on your eyes, you can use bright colours with a natural look, just apply it lightly and not all over, match it with a brown or a natural red, whatever is best.

you can get away with more make up when you're in your 20's and knowing proper application techniques is A MUST. but once you're in your 30's and your skin starts to change you must really cut back on the amount of make up (and usually change the colours you wear!) the older you get the less you should use. i've never been a fan of going too natural. i think you can get away with fully done make up (concealer, foundation, eyeshadow, blush, lipstick, liner, mascara) and still make it look natural. but it definitely takes practice.

I would love to say natural, but after decades of fighting with blemishes, NO ONE wants to see my skin as is. I go as light as possible to smooth out my skin tone. Even those girls without blemishes can benefit from a light cover of foundation. Maybelline dream matte mousse is really light and feels great on!
