Well Andrea I'm a good couple of years older than you, I've just ended a very long-term marriage just weeks ago (been married since I was 17). While going through any breakup is hard and the future can seem a bit scary being on your own, I'd say take time to adjust and then start to enjoy your new found freedom to go out and meet other people. I'm hopeful that in the future, one day I might just met my Mr Right and find a love far greater than I ever had. I'm sure it will happen one day for you to.

Have faith that love will find you and follow your heart when it happens. The right person for you is out there somewhere.

Why not?

This is exactly what happened to me. A 14 year relationship ended when I was 41, seemed like I'd wasted the best years of my life. But not long after I found a fantastic person, a real soulmate. We've been together 3 years and I'm happier than I've ever been.

All I can say is don't worry and force it, just relax and enjoy life.

Good luck.

Yes, absolutely - without a doubt. Don't get desperate though. Give yourself a makeover [ie make you feel good about yourself]. Drop all the feelings about your partner, especially the bad ones. After you've got yourself a clean slate socialize, try new things, go to new places etc. A good place is the gym [exercise makes people horny - always a good start!] . Even if you dont meet your new dreamboat there some of your new friends will know single males!
I am 50 and I found love in a Wimpy bar!!
Good luck, xxx

Of course! I am 42, left my hubby of 10 years and 4 kids in tow, used to think that i can never love or want a man again. But my dear, the best thing in my life happened a year ago, I met this fabulous guy and i have never felt so happy in my entire life! I love him,he adores me and am the happiest woman alive. You will also meet somebody like that, just give yourself time. All the best.

Age is just a number. I would focus on how you present yourself. Do you dress for success? Is your personality open, confident, and vibrant? Are you goals forward and open-minded? Do you appear to have some elegance and enhance your feminine qualities? Are you happy with the past has taught, content with the present and do you strive for you future? And most of all do you smile? I suppose these are all questions, think of them as question a man looking at you would be asking.

Drop all your baggage, get a make over, create an etirly new you and then hit every type of club you can find on the net. There are millions of men out there wasting away and would love it if you cascaded into their lives. Remember the sexy underwear, and try black clothes, throw away all those grey things. Go sparkle darling. Tony.

You will but you cant look for it true love comes to you. I met my man on a chatline he lived in texas and i lived in maryland and we have been together for just about 2 yrs and we both live together in texas. And were more in love with each other now then when we first met. Which proves true love is anywhere. But it comes when you least expect. Like they say good things come to those who wait.

Definitely you will, just create a 'new you', get some professionally-done photos of you from like a department store, create a few personals profiles of you with your new pictures like on Yahoo! Personals, keep fit, and just be you! Soon enough, you'll have many guys messaging you, probably more than you can handle. Do enjoy and stay safe! :-)
