Has anyone seen this movie from the late 70's?

Is it good?

I saw that when I was in early days of high school and found it terrifying. Anthony Hopkins was in his pre Hollywood drunken thesp days and looked pretty frightening in the part. Dickie Attenbourgh used the money he made to finace his making of Gandhi. You have brought back a lot of memories there, I would love to see that again. It kind of reminds me of Peeping Tom by Michael Powell; it has the same sleazy atmosphere.

I don't know if I'd call it good, but when I first saw it as a kid it gave me a pretty good scare. The way the dummy looks when his eyes open. When he talks on its own, still gives me the creeps. Anyway, It's a little cheesy, but it's a good scare.
I think you'll enjoy it if you like that kind of movie

PS dummies & clowns still kind of freak me out

It had a star cast and famous director, but in my opinion it was not a good movie.
