That is what kittens do to their mom's to get milk. The kitten is young enough that it is just instinct.

Well its kneading to get settled and you tummy must be like a nice pillow for it .
If you are very skinny rest of body will be boney.
If you a little bit tubby the belly would be best place to lie.
Its all boils down to your kitten thinks your belly is its bed!!!
