Perhaps there are some issues that you are better able to understand than the current partner. If you can take it and meet him, you will all the more richer (emotionally and spiritually) by the experience.

What you will learn will be always yours. I wish you well.

I would go with your instincts. Something about this seems fishy. Heck, he may want to beat you up for something, or size you up to see if you are still competition (and then beat you up) or rub it in and emotionally beat you up. What do you have to gain? Maybe there will be something in this to help your growth or to do that last favor for someone you cared for, but until you figure out what that is and can get a clear picture of it in your head, your best bet is to involve yourself in doing something else until you can get your emotional balance back.

Depends,if your mates now then you should to show that you can handle been mates even if you cant, but if you think you will just break down or you arent mates then you should just say mabe not,if you want go for the " well your with him now and i wouldnt want to intrude" you realy need to think about how it will affect you,and what it will do to you if you are mate but not going to meet him

I think he wants to just, "mark his turf," so to speak.
Ensuring that you know that she is now his girlfriend.

I would be hesitant about the meeting until I knew why he wanted to meet.
