I'd better not catch you shaking any ketchup. SHAKING KETCHUP IS MURDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You don't need to shake a ketchup packet because you tear one end and you can squeeze everything out. A bottle sometimes needs shaking to get the ketchup out. If it were plastic, you could squeeze it like the packet. Air pockets can develop in the bottle making it come out slow--then you hit the bottle and way too much comes out.

We don't shake ketchup packets because there is no need too! It's so small that the entire thing is filled up with ketchup, so no need to shake it.

even though you can squeeze a ketchup bottle now, the old style u used to shake it till your arm fell off and yet u just got a blob, it is all mith, it didn't matter what u did it still came out at the same speed and time.

by shaking the bottle, u induce air to the condense form of ketchup, thus making it easier to pour it out.

of course, u need not shake the packet yah! ha!

i've never noticed but its true

ok - ive thought about it
with the bottle we re-use it many times and so we get a layer of air and the various parts seperate out

with a sachet its sealed and only used once so the contents can't seperate
