Stand in from of Wal-Mart with a cup for donations and a sign that says "My mom is dying of cancer, we have no health insurance". Joke! (although probably very profitable in this socialisticly minded nation we have now)

Seriously I don't know your interests, personality, etc, so difficult to advise you. When I was your age, I did jobs in neighborhood, such as cleaning, cutting grass, etc.., and even though illegal aliens do most of those jobs now, your neighbors are probably willing to hire you over outsiders.

I admire you for working, and not relying on your parents. We need more youth like you. The greatness of this country was not built with this current disease of lazy socialism!

dont think about money at this age. your parents are their to earn for you. when you are above 20 then think of making some cash. now you need to concentrate on your studies, and fulfill the desire of your cash by playing monopoly game one hour a day. otherwise the best thing is to help your mother in her work.
