Can anyone tell me when the new Suzuki Swift GTi will be released in Australia ( 2007 model)?

If we're lucky, we may get to see the return of the Suzuki Swift GTi by year's end. Suzuki has just released a Sports version of the new Swift in Japan but this was not deemed powerful enough by the Australian and European distributors of Suzuki cars.

So the factory is busily working on a car worthy of the GTi badge but headquarters is not giving any of its distributors a clue as to what engine will power the pocket rocket.
