Anyone know how much energy is used to boil a [full] kettle and would a 1/4 of the energy be used to boil a 1/4 full kettle?

A little more than 1/4th the cost of boiling a full kettle, to boil 1/4th cost, irrespective of the size of the kettle, fuel used, provided the material boiled , place where it is done are same/similar.
