I used to do that but then I grew up and nothing scares me
also, I find the old ones have more of a scare factor to them than the new one, except the grude, that scared me to the point where i will never touch the DVD again

I think the supernatural ones are much scarier than the gory bloody films , 'The Excorsist' was sh1t scary it leaves some vivid images in ur mind the girl's face is an image that u cannot forget , thats what makes a good horror film , anything that stays with u when u cant sleep.

I grew up watching scary movies steven king books are the only book I really read but you are right films are not as scary as they used to be the grudge was ok but there is too much blood and guts in films these days

Shutters. its a horror ghost movie from thailand which is relentless is scaring u to the max, thrilling u non-stop thru the whole movie n giving no rest for yr jumping heart. find it n watch!!
