Citizens Advice, the administrative centre at County Hall in Kendal or try Lancashire as in Furness District of Lancashire. There might be someone in Carlisle who can help, but that's almost Scotland.

Go to Election Commissioners office. You pay fees and request for the nomination papers of all those people who contested th elections. In the nomination papers one has to write only truth/facts, if not their nomination will be rejected and one has to undergo a prison sentence for not disclosing the truth.
