SAT level 3 is just below GCSE grade G (or entry level) and SAT level 8 is A/A*. There is no direct matching for other grades

As far as I am aware SATs do NOT match GCSE Grades at all. You sit the last SATs at 14, and go straight into GCSEs which you sit at 16.

The other thing you need to consider is; are you talking about externally / nationally assessed SATs by exam, or the Teacher Assessed SATs now at KS2 and KS3?

The equivalence of assessed SATs to GCSE has been mentioned previously, but TA to GCSE is more open to debate.

they gained't care in case you have re-sat them, in simple terms placed your grades and dates, and in the event that they question you clarify you re-sat to get greater effective grades. this is large. they don't likely care approximately GCSE's besides, it is your A-ranges that count selection. Do you recognise what proportion applications uni's receive for drugs with the comparable grades as you? How are they meant to chosen between applicants? you're able to desire to have some greater advantageous curricular events and hobbies too, which includes game or music, charity paintings and/or D of E, to make you extremely stick out from something.

They can be used to 'predict' likely grades. for example, a child who gains L5 at KS3, is likely (given average progress and studiousness) to gain grade C at GCSE. Therefore 6 = B, 7 = A, 8 = A*.

They aren't there yet, but are likely to hit that when they reach 16.
