I had a boy 4 years ago... then I had 2 misscarriages... then I had another beautiful boy.. I think.. that you don't have alot to worry about. You could have another one.. or you could have a healthy happy pregnancy. 2 miscarriages is " nothing to worry about " I know that it hurt you, just as it hurt me.. but women have miscarriages every day.. and some don't even know it. It's just your body telling you (most of the time) that there was something wrong with this baby...

If you have another one, you will qualify to see a specialist.. they will test you and see what's going on. Also.. get an STD test.. one of the biggest causes for miscarriage is Chlaymidia..If there is any way that you could have an STD.. then get tested.

Chlaymidia has no symptoms.. you won't feel sick or like you have something, but it can cause miscarriages, and if left long enough, could cause you to be infertile.

Your chances of miscarriage are about 20% with any pregnancy regarless of your history.

I have also had 2 miscarriages and have the same fear, however, the only way to proceed is forward. My OB is going to put me on the hormone progesterone the next time I am pregnant. and we are going to hope for the best.

If you do have another miscarriage (and I hope you don't) ask the doctor for genetic testing on the fetal tissue and to do a full battery of blood tests on you. After my second miscarriage I had my thyroid, hormoned, blood protiens and a bunch of other stuff tested (they took about 9 vials of blood). Sometimes you might be able to find something. In my case there was nothing wrong.

Good luck and I hope the best for you.

talk to your doctor. biggest issue were both miscarriages at the same stage of the pregnancy? were there any other health issues such as preeclampsia or diabetes. is there a family history of miscarriage? do you smoke? are you on your feet a lot? do you do heavy lifting? there are a lot of factors that can determine a miscarriages cause. the only way to be sure is to visit your doctor, give him a good history and be sure to tell him not justr miscarriages but any live births. either way if you get pregnant again you will be high risk and you need to be sure that you see a doctor who has experience with high risk pregnancy. i wish you luck.

I had a miscarriage with triplets and an ectopic pregnancy in which I lost my left tube and ovary and you know what I now have 2 beautiful children!!! You just have to take it easy and most likely you will be labeled as high risk, but I was scared after my miscarriage and my ectopic pregnany too, but speak to your doctor they will be able to tell you what to do. If you are meant to have children you definitly will!! I have spoken to people that have had more then 2 miscarriages and now have children. Good Luck and God Bless!!

My friend is going through the same thing. First one, she didn't know she was pregnant. Second, she had miscarriage two weeks before she was going to be six months pregnant. Now, she is 5 1/2. The only thing I can say is not to stress yourself out. Think positive! and don't do too much around the house.

Hope everything turns out fine!

My friend had two miscarriages and she was afriad she would have another-but she ended up having a beautiful baby. but yeah there is a chance you could have another miscarriage. sometimes the body just rejects the babies for many different reasons. ask your doctor what he/she thinks about you trying for another baby before you do and what the chances are that you will miscarry again.
