For Arabic-Lebanese food, I strongly suggest you to try Al-Mallah on Dubai-Sharjah main road.
Not a luxurious restaurant but tens of different unique tastes to choose from, freshly prepared fruit juices/shakes and incredible low bill.

There are many cheap and tasty Indian and Pakistani restaurants in Sharjah, and most meals go for around 6 AED's ( AED 3.6=USD 1.00). These meals are huge and very good value. The restaurant I prefer is called the Telal Pakistani and is always full at meal times (a sure sign that it is good). They also serve Chinese meals. Free home delivery.
They have specials daily but my fav is the Chicken Jalfrazi.

if you would like chinese then try China House Restaurant near the Etisalt in the Yarmook area
nandos is another food joint.....at the qasbah canal
if you want indian try Aryaas on king faisal street...

are you sure? why not go to dubai instead, at least you can have a glass of wine with your dinner!
