remember next time to use a press cloth (or lightly dampened smooth cloth or a brown store bag dampened), and low setting on the iron. And to iron anything black iron the item only on the inside part of the fabric.

The only thing I can suggest is to dampen the slacks and see if you can bring up the nap with your fingernail then let it dry.

I remember when I was in high school we wore navy blue uniforms and some mothers would wash the uniforms in white vinegar water to stop the shine, but I don't know if that would work or not for your situation.

You can try rewashing them in warm water it may be possible to remove it...if the fabric melted with the heat of the iron..I am afraid it is a permanent mark and you are stuck with it...a word of advice in the future; (and I learned this from my dad) when ironing clothing containing synthetic materials use a damp cloth to cover material before applying the iron; this protects it and leaves sharp creases in the pants. Good luck...

Spray the previous decal marks making use of WD-40 and rum the glue off with a towel. WD-40 won't harm the clean coat or paint. Wax the section once you're accomplished as this is going to strip the wax off. Kerosene will do an identical ingredient while WD-40 isn't obtainable.

No, it is on there for good. Unless you can iron the entire pair and make them shiny, they are probably ruined. Next time, iron them inside out.
