love knows no boundaries. So that shudn't b yr concern. Yr concern should be :-

1) Is he genuine?
2) do u hv a communication problem?
3) how well do u both know each other and both yr families?

Go deep, if u want this relationship. Get to know each other real well before saying 'i do'. Afterall, u dont wanna end up with divorce 1 or 2 yrs later rite? put religion aside.

After all marriage love is solely between 2 people, so y let anything else stands in the way.

All religion teaches good and no religion says u must marry yr own kind. Besides arent we all huma and of the same kind?

"Turkish" and "American" are simply social constructs. Healthy relationships are build on shared values. Do you share core values with him? Things like honesty, work ethics, loyalty, spontaneity.

If you do, then cultural differences mean nothing, your relationship will be healthy and happy. If you do not, then it doesn't matter if you grew up next door in the same village, the marriage will not work.
