You are a deluded little girl....
Why don't you and your sad ilk complain when innocent Israeli children are being murdered by your Islamo-Nazi terrorist friends....

I believe that there should be a cease fire as well but there are other factors involved.
Most people of Arab descent are taught from childhood that the US and Isreal are evil, just like most people from Israel are taught the same thing.
There have also been countless women and children also killed from terrorist bombings and attacks on Isreal from different Arab factions. Nobody does war good while the other is bad. Kind of a silly statement.
I believe they should have a cease fire but when one side; either Israel or the Arab states thinks they are totally right and the other side is wrong, then there is no hope. Anger clouds the mind and closes it as well.
I also think it's ridiculous and EXTREMELY hypocritical for people that say they hate the U.S. but they chose to live in the U.S. and make U.S. dollars. They should leave the U.S. if it's such a terrible place and go to a place that they can support.

Hatred of israel <> anti-semitism. This person did not say they hated the jews. The jews are a race, Israel is a country. There is a difference. Outrage at seeing civilians killed is a GOOD thing, it's what separates us from the terrorists.
I think this question is the exact reason why missiles and bombs can never be the long term solution to terrorism, you end up creating more bad feelings in the survivors than you eliminate by killing terrorists.

Wow, you are totally right, it is intolerable. I cannot even watch the news anymore, it breaks my heart to see all those children. and the terrible thing is that they claim that Hezbollah men are hiding with those children, where are their bodies? Israel does a lot every single day in Lebanon and Gaza, and the world is watching.

So where was your rage when Hezbollah made numerous rocket attacks on Israel and killed Israeli children?.
Israel has taken many attacks from Hezbollah and finally Israel said enough is enough. Yeah, war sucks but Hezbollah wasn't gonna stop attacking just by asking them pretty please.

Shame on you. Everyone blames the US because we are so visible and easy to blame. We are not bombing anyone especially Lebanon. We are guilty in that we are an ally of Israel. Israel is responding to terrorism. I curse the terrorist and blame them more than the country of Israel. I despise acts of terror, threats of terror and anyone who supports their acts.

Go put your *** on the line for your country, research the reasons for this war, and maybe you will stop judgiing what is going on. Personally, I think wars for religious reasons are Satan's work, but I would never presume to judge a county's right to exist. Are you saying that Israel should cease to exist, because they are defending their right to exist? If the U.S. wouldn't have fought for its right to exist and hundreds of thousands of people died starting from the Revolutionary war, and WWI and WWII, we would be speaking with an English accent or a German accent or a Japanese accent in the USA right now. The same old saying goes...love your courtry or get the hell out. It is hard to believe that in 2006 this **** is still going on, but if you are saying that Israel has no right to exist, the only thing you can do is get off your keyboard and go out on the front line and destroy Israel....either that or educate yourself as to why this war is going on....and the underlying, corrupt reasons that are there, also. I personally don't agree with any of this religious or land war ****,.but at least educate yourself about Israel. As far as I know, that country was created after WWII as a sanctuary for Jews who survived WWII, and there was no problem at that time with them establishing that country. I think the problem came when they actually became a prosperous country, or maybe it is oil. Who knows? However, don't believe all you hear on whatever TV channel you watch. Educate yourself before you make a judgment about anything. Do you even know anything about WWII and what happened after it? Do you really condone Lebanon as a sacred land that harbors and condones terrorist actions against Israel (and therefore, also U.S.)? If you do, get the hell out of MY country and go fight with the assholes who flew the airplanes into the Twin Towers. My country, either love it or get the hell out....if you want to protect terrorists, go do it in person....all they will do to you when they find out you are an American is cut your throat.

I am with you. Whoevers kills a person, kills the whole humanity.
Aside from us, Muslims have been hating Israel and Jews since long ago (What they really hate are the manipulative and evil ones.) Aside from being non-Muslims, Israel and Jews are hated by Muslims because they act unjustly to what blessings God give to them. Muslims deny the Israeli proclaim that they are God's chosen ones. Muslims do respect non-Muslims, contrary to many urban beliefs. Just like the Christians, Muslims "love the sinner, hate the sin." (A lesser love towards the non-Muslims but still compassionate!) Keep in mind that Christians and Jews ain't Muslims' ultimate enemies. We all have the same ultimate enemy, that is Satan. In fact, Christianity and Judaism are the nearest relatives to Islam than Buddhism, Hinduism, paganism and so forth. Still, Islam claims that it is the ultimate religion for mankind as Christianity and Judaism have deflected a long way from the real path. You may find the reasons by continuing reading.
Supposed to be allies, but why are they fighting?
To comment on this topic, we may need to digress back to history.
How did the state of Israel come to exist?
Through the supports of Britain, USA and other allies, they want to realise the Israeli prophecy to claim back their rightful land which spanned across the Nile river to the Euphrates river (if not mistaken. What's obvious that they actually want the whole world!) Most Christians and Jews are supportive. The state of Israel now lies on the lands of Palestines. By force they settle in.
What happened to the locals who defy them?
Killed, shot, tortured, prisoned, raped and other violent acts are given to them without age and gender discimination. Those who strive really hard to fight such as forming organizations, are labelled "terrorists."
How about the local Jews?
Some of them are forced out of their homes to make way for some Israeli projects. The rest are quite fine.
But would not it affect the Jews if Israel continues to attack Muslim Palestinians?
Actually, the Jews and Muslims are God-following and respect each other. The Jews pity the Muslims for being unjustly treated. What's more, rabbis or orthodox Jews defy the state of Israel and the so-called rights of Israelis and claim the Israelis not following Torah. The so-called Israel is actually masquerading Zionism, a belief founded by non-religious Jews who thought they are smarter than what God teaches. The real Jews are usurped by these people. They have no right to represent Judaism and Jews through the state of Israel. A real Jew should obey the rules of the country wherever he or she lives and not forget Torah.
Sadly, Westerners have been blinded by media to convince them that Israel is actually defending herself from being attack by Palestinians, as if Palestine is a wealthy usurper!
End of history digress, now that Israel is attacking Lebanon by using the excuse they are attacking Hizbullah (Hezbollah as most Yahoo! Answerers use) which is housed by Lebanon.
Innocent blood is spilled,
and terror looms in deep,
children cry in horror,
parents pray in somber,
trauma seeps in and lingers,
to Israel they do not matter,
for all they want is a soldier.
Paradise goes missing,
and Israel keeps on bombing,
Hezbollah is what they're searching,
but it's Lebanon that they're killing,
protests came in numbers,
to Israel, "Hey, relax, we got a strong partner!"
It is clear for us to hate the so-called Israel but what matters the most is ceasefire as you had suggested. If problem persists, we will have to stop the (mad) warriors if the war does not or cannot be stopped through diplomacy.
For us normal civilians, it is hard for us to do something big internationally but it does not mean we cannot. World leaders should not be afraid of the usurpers.
Real leaders should be brave to die in good cause.
Half a planet without madmen is better than a planet full with madmen.
Do not buy anything Israeli or American because America has been supporting Israel since long ago. I know it is quite hard but be consistent.
We could also educate people about the real facts.
Keep on doing what is right, jemyrichard!
There is always help for those who do the right thing.
I am sorry for mistakes should there be. Check out my answer for any of them. Thanks.
By the way, remember this. Always be calm and rational whenever whatever happens, OK? You will not lose a thing by being calm. Instead, you will get a treasure trove full of benefits!
<1207, 7/1 Rajjab/August 1427/2006>
Being calm does bring you benefits, someone showed me that.
OK, now. I think it is better if I comment on Hezbollah, too.
HEZBOLLAH
Once defeated Israel and pushed them out of Lebanon. The current war is most likely a Israeli masquerade of claiming a soldier (or more) back (although they had kidnapped several MP's and Ministers of either Palestine or Lebanon, I think it is Palestine) to gain revenge over their defeat to the Islamic organisation which provides amenities such as schools and hospitals to the Lebaneses.
It is a normal thing for Hezbollah to be disliked by some groups of Lebaneses although Hezbollah done more good than harm because it is the law of the universe. With war currently tearing apart Lebanon, more and more people are supporting the resistance.
As you, the questioner, had stated that if there is to be a war, Hezbollah and Israel must leave the Lebaneses alone. In fact, Hezbollah has already stated that to the media but how about Israel? They do as America told them to do; ignore the truce, UN, protests and claim back what is yours. Israel have committed international crime.
This is clearly the fact for us to take into account; never support Zionism/Israel.
Although my knowledge on Hezbollah is little, but given the facts above, it is better to support the resistance.
Concerning Rice, she better pull out of the American government if she really is a peacekeeper. Hey, ain't America the global police?
I am sorry for any mistake. Check out the answer for any mistake and inform me if you wish.
Thanks.

You again? You know our opinions!! You are a terrorist just like those that you support. You've no idea what you are even talking about. Go on and continue to read your biased news reports. The U.S. doesn't even have a hand in this conflict. Condi Rice should kick your a$$ and believe me she could. She doesn't take anything from terrorists like you. I asked you before, shouldn't you have blown yourself up by now. The blood of all the innocent children are on your hands. And might I inform you that those children you speak of in Lebanon are not all innocent. Of course if you had any idea of what you speak you would know this. Again I realize that terrorists don't have much time for education and learning right from wrong, you are all born into hate without reason and need to be cleansed from the earth.
