Being that an axolotl is an amphibian you shouldn't need one. I would suggest keeping one regardless as they are quiet and clean and only require a well-furnished aquarium and an air pump.

No. An Axolotl is an aquatic salamander from Mexico. It retains its external gills as an adult. It is an amphibian not a reptile.

no it is an amphimbian, like a frog and can be bought at all pet stores, usually at around 30 dollars each. dont need a lincense for these they are like pet fish.
