Absolutely! I tried for 8 years to get pregnant. When we bought our home, we bought a bi-level one in anticipation of a family though I already new that my chance were small due to PCOS. (I've struggled with it for 18 years.) I picked the room I wanted for the baby and put in new carpeting. I prepared my life...I believed I was supposed to be a mother. God wouldn't of put it so deeply in me if I was not to be. I had faith! One year later I found out I was pregnant with my daughter through IVF and then 9 months after she was born, I found out I was pregnant with my son (this time on our own). I asked God to fill my home with children and by God my cup runith over. They are 4 and 3 now!

Keep doing what your doing. Keep believing!

I started buying baby clothes after I found out that i was going to have a girl. I was looking at baby clothes long befor that. Remeber it is never to early just don't buy something that is meant for a girl or boy. You might be disappointed in the end. Just put it in a box or drawer somewhere and DON'T forget about it.

in my opinion you are tempting fate. A lot of people think it's bad luck to have baby things in the house before you are pregnant or whilst you are still in the first trimester.

It is of course up to you. My sister in law bought a load of stuff whilst she was trying to conceive and ended up having a miscarriage at 6 weeks (this was 3 and a half years ago) and she's never managed to conceive since.

oh well, isn't it too early. Just wonder why the rush and what's more it's kind of difficult to buy when you don't even know the gender of the baby. Also, in some cases, people get pregnant just after a month of trying and in other cases, people try for years. But then, it's your wish. :)

I have heard that it is bad luck to buy anything for a baby until you are in the 2nd trimester. I guess maybe because it is alot easier to lose a baby in the 1st trimester.

It's okay, but could be a waste of money.
And then what will you buy when you ARE pregnant? You'll have to find another excuse to go shopping!
