I like this guy but I get to nervous around him how would I ask him to a school dance before someone else?

Make eye contact with him. Be confident in yourself, meaning let it show that you like who you are. If he's into you, meaning if he shows interest, tell him you were thinking about going to the dance and you want to know if he'd like to go with you. If he says nicely, "a Date?" , you'd say with a smile, "ok, we can call it that if you want." But if he says, "a date?" kind of jerky, you could say, "no, you know its nice to have guy friends too. Geeze" Then either way you got it covered.

But if the dance is far off, get some friends together and ask him to come along. Then you have other people around and you can get to know him and he you.

I know just how you feel. I don't know if they have tolo's anymore, some people know them as sadie hawkins dances, where the girls have to ask the guys out. There was a guy I really liked when i was in middle school and I was nervous till it made me sick. I just couldn't do it and he ended up going with somebody else. I still went to the dance, but I should've gotten the nerve to ask. I found out later that he wanted to go with me, but since I didn't ask, he figured I wasn't interested.

You have to GO FOR IT! tell him yourself and don't rely on email or something like that, it's so impersonal and what if he doesn't get it. Walk up to him and ask him what he thinks about the dance that's coming up. That will give you an indication of whether or not he's already accepted from someone else. If it looks good, than pop the question. No matter what happens, at least you won't regret you didn't try.

OK! I may not be a girl but what a better answer than from a guy? Try asking him by playing like "Wouldn't it be funny if u and me ended up at the school dance", then just look at his reaction or get a friend 2 ask him for u. Trust me i know about this because my sisters get talk about it all he time and it gets on my nerves at times.

Ask him casually....besides if you don't, there is another girl out there who might. Just say, hey...ya wanna go to the dance with me? If he says no, so what, now you still have time to ask someone else :) If he says yes, then you won't regret it! :)
