do you think Inuyasha would have been a better show if they all lived in modern day Japan? and they would go to highschool and have the same love triangles, enemies, etc.????

Inuyasha could never work if set in modern time. First of all, Inuyasha's ears would be very out of place in a school, plus the whole issue of Kogome being the reincarnation of Kikyou could never work.
The point of having Inuyasha take place during the feudal era is so there is an atmosphere of war and death; perfect for demons.

No, the whole Inuyasha series wouldn't make any sense if it was based on the modern day Japan. Inuyasha is half demon plus he has those cute little doggy ears and I don't want to see those go away. If they had to base Inuyasha on the modern day Japan they would have to change the whole story around and it would be alot different.

Inu Yasha wouldn't be as nice if they lived in modern day, 'cause they'd get aressted. It's against the law to do many things that they do in the show, such as killing, beating up, destroying property, groping, etc. At least in the time era they're in, they're safe from getting arrested.
But why listen to me? I'm just a 14-year-old girl...

Nah, because that would make things too easy... I don't know how the modern day Japan people would react to the demons.. but then again, it could make things more interesting.. Hmm, I can't decide, but I would love it either way lol

Nope. Firstly, it would take all the demon-fighting drama out of it. secondly, Naraku and Sesshoumaru might only be a bunch of bullies, I mean c'mon, It would take all the excitement outta everything. And the story line would get much much more complicated. And where can you find all those romantic scenes in a big city?

I think if they visited modern japan more because they had to save someone or because one of their biggest enemies was there it would have been better.

i don't really think so. but i would make a nice episode where it was all normal for once. but like, where are all the demons going to come from? it won't be that exciting that way. so the feudal era goes alright with me.
