I'd guess he retired or was cut. 3rd down/goal line backs are more expendable...he wasn't that great.

I think this quote says it all about him - "If you need 3 yards, I'll get you 3 yards. If you need 5 yards, I'll get you 3 yards."

He hasn't played in 7 years. He is 38 years old now. This seems to be an odd question. All he ever did was score from the one yard line anyway. He was never an every down feature back.
