I do, I do, I do!!!! I am 26 years old and I have Breast Cancer. Right now if I could pack my bags and run away to an Island where I had no problems and no cancer. I would be there so fast I would probably make the record books for speed flying. I could probably even grow my own wings to fly with if I knew it would take the problems away once I got to the island. Oh, I am in dream land know, but it has been a nice trip. Thanks for asking the question & allowing me to take a little trip in my head.

Take Care & Best of luck......oh btw you never said where you would go if you packed your bags and ran away. There is room on my make believe island if you want to join me. The more there are the happier it will be there.

:) Keep smiling, it makes the world wonder what you were up to last night! :)

When things get hard (when are they EASY??) to the point that I have no where to turn....yes, I feel like running away. But as one other said, I'd be running from myself, and problems I could have resolved if I'd tried hard enough. So...I stick it out, and things change, along with my attitude and the way I see them within a couple of days...and we move on.

You do your best, day after day, sometimes it's not enough....and there are times it never will be, but God gives us strength to move on.

Example: I'm driving my daughter's SUV right now, I don't have a car, but putting gas in this guzzler takes every extra penny I have to go back and forth to work, and we're struggling to eat! I've been trying to get a car for myself and my youngest, with NO luck, because I have NO extra left over for downpayment.....yesterday, in email, I got notice that the middle daughter's father FINALLY made a payment on the back support he owed me....$1100! Enough to get that car I need, and get me out from under the gas bill I pay weekly! The suv takes about 80 dollars a week...now THAT money can go towards payments on a small economical car instead! Things change daily....you just have to be willing to wait, and have the patience to do the same! I had given up.....figured I'd quit the job I was hired 2 months ago to do which is my DREAM job and look for work closer to home, even if it meant Walmart...now I can keep that job and travel the 35 miles a day each way to retire where I want!

Chin up, girl....times change.....patience IS a virtue! :)

Yep, sometimes. That's when I put Andrea Bocelli on the cd player and crank it up with my headphones on. He takes me away for a little while and then it's all good again.
You have some great pictures on your 360 page by the way. Nice camera!

I don't even want to pack. I just feel like walking away from it all sometimes. Just become someone else. Start all over.

Yeah, my saddlebags and ride away. Somewhere where I can ride all year round.

I am kind of a gypsy. I get bored. I always want to just go.

But I have 4 kids, a mortgage, a job. I'm kinda stuck for now.

Yes.

But running away never solves anything. Face up to the issues and resolve them correctly. Running away just means they'll come back to haunt you in the future.

No. But if you're feeling this way, find out what the root of the problem is and do something about. Your happiness is the most important thing you should worry about.
