Yes, it is a country in Eastern Europe. It is located on the eastern bank of Baltic Sea, bordering Latvia to the North, Russia to the East, Byelarussia to the South, Poland and Kaliningrad (a Russian enclave) to the South-west..

Lithuania is a member of EU and NATO.

The country reappeared in early 1990s, as it was a part of the Soviet Union since WW 2. Between WW 1 & 2, it was an independent state.

Lithuania has a long and rich history, but I suppose you aren't interested in it right now?

It`is a country in Europe. One of the Baltic countries. Neigbouring countries are Latvia, Poland Belarus and Russia. Capital Vilna. Population about 3,5 million. Decleared independence from the Soviet Union in 1991.
