by other 'gods' i.e if you look at god as the universe and, if the m theory is correct, then two other universes collided and make this god which in-turn spawn life in itself. however if you speak of the idea which we think of as a singular entity that created everything which is never the case in nature and in all of life then that god came from man. but if you realized what i just said then you see that man has also created this reality of a god as well and is relying on a theory which can be seen as a type of religious outlook. but ultimately from what i've seen and heard about finding answers to other problems, your best bet is to look at your surroundings; the answer as to how "god" came to be is there somewhere, probably much like how we are born, just not with all the pushing and a shoving.

God's from Outer Space! Read Erich Von Daniken's Chariots of the Gods, Gods from Outer Space etc. Enough evidence to support the subject!

Some say that God has existed forever.

If this is the case, though, the universe should be able to have existed forever as well.

its ok for god not to have a creator because he is He. Just go through life and accept it. some things are incomprehensible to man. if everything was so easy to figure out and we knew god's will all the time, then there'd b no point in living, huh?

God is the creation of mind. Where mind cannot reach, the thinking of God starts.

thats a hard question to be answered! god begins to form from every heart that has faith! no one knows since it is a supernatural power! just think and see DNA DISCOVERY TO SOUND WAVES TO LIGHT TRANSMISSION TO EVOLUTION OF EARTH!EVERY THING WAS FIRST CREATED BY GOD AND WE HUMANS ONLY BECOME DISCOVERERS WHEN WE TRY TO UNDERSTAND GOD'S CREATION!THEN JUST THINK AND SEE HOW GOD WOULD HAVE CREATED WHEN WE GET DAYS TO EVEN UNDERSTAND THE THEORY BEHIND THE DISCOVERY! SO WHY NOT THINK OF GOD AS A SUPERNATURAL POWER...IT HAS NO CREATOR GOD IS ITS OWN CREATOR AND ITS OWN DESTROYER!

That is a good question. Why is its okay for GOD to have no creator, but it isn't okay for the Universe to have no creator? Doesn't make sense!
