Your IP is on the community. it really is the way it is conceivable that persons get sued. even if to be straightforward, your possibilities of having sued are virtually as likely as hitting the lottery. So those of you which have done that, pay attention. :P actually, it is quite unlikely you're going to get sued. conceivable? extremely. even if, because it is the those that percentage the records that look better likely to get stuck (depending off what i have study of those getting sued), once you've 0 shared records, i wager that is a lot less likely. do not ask even if. it is the RIAA it really is suing human beings, and they are an identical those that fee us $15 for a clean CD that led the international to music piracy in the first position.

Sued, yes because you can be sued for anything. More importantly you can be arrested and it is a felony. The safest way to us limewire is to completely shut off the ability for people to download from your computer. That is how they track you is by what you are sharing.

Yeah, they can. I heard a story (dunno if its true) that some old man got sued $600,000 because his son was downloading music...and the old man didn't even know about it! That would suck alot. But I need music, so I use it anyway lol.

turn sharing off. technically you could. but then they would have to sue the millions upon millions of others that are doing it, and they don't have the time nor the resources to do that.

They are more likely to sue the guys who have thousands of songs downloaded (and that are being shared) as opposed to those who download as a less-frequent rate.
