China is a huge threat. But as long as chinese pencils are $0.05 less each than a pencil made in South Dakota, nobody will care.

Economically no, the importation of goods from another country only means competition for companies here.
Companies here could use the competition- there is extreme dishonesty and a total lack of accountability that could be put in check by any type of competition.
For example: There is absolutely no conceivable reason why we should be paying $12.00-25.00 for a CD if it only costs the company $0.17 to make it.
If China decides to mass produce music CDs for American artists and sell them here for less than half the price so much the better. The music industry could well afford to sell them for even less than that and still make a profit.
Politically, no- The internal politics of another country, regardless of which country it is has no effect whatsoever on America unless it involves the decision making process of the UN. Even then, it is only one country. Even then, it wouldn't matter because the UN is so pathetically ineffective anyway. What difference could it make?
Militarily, no- The only time another country is a threat to America is when the public decides to make it one. I see no reason why we should consider China a military threat to anybody. If they were going to invade another country they would have done it already.
With regards to nuclear weapons development, China has proven itself to be a remarkably stable country with conscientious leadership. Besides that, it is ridiculous to believe that we are the only country in the world with a right to possess nuclear weapons.
America is the only country on Earth with a history of using them against other countries.
America is the only country currently invading other countries.
It was also the President of America who decided to announce on national television his intentions of breaking the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty and resume nuclear testing. This happened before any other country in Asia decided to begin the development and testing of their own.
China is no more a threat to America than America is to China.

It is true, the Chinese have never forgotten the past, they seek to rule others because their country was raped years ago. It is only a matter of time before China unleashes something to the world. It is merely buying (America a little at a time) time.
The only chance for America is for the Jews to gain world domination before the Chinese does. No kidding!

Maybe, i can see why you think so but China is a strong allie to USA and Europe. I believe if it came down to it China would choose the allies over North Korea or Iran.
