Well, I picked mine because I'm what I would consider a modern Bohemian. A Bohemian was someone that was something like a hippie would be in the 60's but this was a movement back in Europe much eariler than that and is used to describe a group of people that are like "starving artists". If you've ever seen the movie 'Rent' , it displays the "Bohemian lifestyle". I tend to go against norms, go against the grain, and be very liberal. So, I felt the term "bohemian" was fitting to me, as I'm liberal, against the grain, all about choice, kind of person. The "boi" part comes from a trend of younger butch lesbians and/or gay men. Some butch lesbians refer to themselves as "boi" or also if they are drag kings. I am a female to male transsexual, so I used the term "boi" as well. Hence the name.."bohemianboi" :)

I chose my screen name after a word someone in Turkey used to designate Montreal. This person lived to be a hundred years old and passed away, so when I type my screen name or e-mail address, it reminds me of this wonderful person.

I picked my screen name because I am a armywife and my hubby's name is Tony.
It means alot to me. It makes me proud everytime I type it in. Because my hubby is fighting to keep me and everyone else safe. Plus I love him and he's my whole world. Along with our children.
