Yes...it IS a true story...its not just based on one. All of those events actually happened. There is also a famous book written on the subject.

Yeah, supposedly he was born or at least raised at the Hialeah Race Track outside Miami, FL. There was a thing on the news a few years back about it.

yes mam, without a doubt , its a fabulous book. i was elated when the movie came out. If your an animal lover especially for horses. it will touch your heart and soul deeply. FYI original movie, shirley temple the book i believe decicated to Seasbiscuit himself, not long before that., ruthiebrat.
