There are lasers in CD drives

Nope, but they sure as hell help the computer be a more productive machine!
Laser are a gift from those who were really interested in the speed of light & Einsteins idea on stimulated emissions!

It is light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation.
It is due to stimulated emission causing population inversion ie more no. of particles in excited state compared to ground state

not so sure wat u mean. but lasers are just an advancement in th science and technology world. lasers can b harmful wen improperly used this is due to th rays produced
