It's fairly common and is called Morton's Toe. Because many shoes are made for more conventional feet where the big toe is longer than the 2nd toe, it's important to make sure that the shoes you purchase fit properly, or you'll have problems later on.

It is unusual. My first husband's first two toes before his big toe were bigger, I mean longer. I often thought that was strange but I didn't freak out about it. I guess it's okay.

Yup, that's funny. If you notice well, I think everyone has that anatomy but some more pronounced than others. My second toe is bigger than my big toe.

I have the same thing and I have asked people a million times including doctors. I have gotten some funny answers and I have no idea if any of them are true but one was that its a birth defect, (which I think not) another was this means that you have bad teeth and my favorite is someone told me that it means that you are very intellegent and creative.

If your second toe is longer that your big toe it means that you will rule/control your husband in your marriage,. If the big is longer, your husband will rule. If they are equal, equal control in the relationship.

I do.... Its because you have inherited the dominant trait from your parents which means your second toe is supposed 2b longer... so blame it on your parents genes!

my 2ND toe isn't bigger, but it is longer.. I just think of them as backup fingers if anything bad happens.
