Dude, don't stereotype. Your being just like the peole you just described, however not all "rap-haters" go out searching to diss it, and in fact some keep it to themselves. Dude, just chill, relax, listen to your rap, and be happy.

Like a few other people on here, get over it. There is so much other music in this world to appreciate that doesn't rant on about abusing girlfriends, uses vulgar language, and violence against anybody they don't like. And I have listened to rap and have heard just that.
When it comes on TV I just use the mute button or just change the channel. We do have that option.
And I've been a musician for over 40 years. I know music. I would rather hear somebody sing a melody the way it was meant to be sung and no more than that. That may be boring to some people, but not to me.
Every single person on this earth is different in likes and dislikes. We have the right to turn a deaf ear to music we don't like and we also have the right to say we don't like it just like those who say they do.
So I repeat, GET OVER IT!

Dang it!!! I forgot to press the play button; no one wants to listen to rap if it doesn’t have a back beat on top of it. My song will never be a greatest hit. But can you blame me for not pressing the button? Pressing the button takes some major “talent”. That’s why rappers can buy aluminum teeth, because the have the talent to press a button, and fans stupid enough to listen to them talking after they press a button.

Alright, I get it: you're going on Yahoo! answers, where you know there is a lot of people with extremely diverse music tastes, and complaining your little heart out how people don't like rap?
First of all, we're not the only people who complain about stuff like music. I've seen plenty of "rappers" going about dissing people who like any different kind of music such as: Metal, Rock, Emo, Country, Classical, etc. so what makes it such a blasphemy to rappers to "hate" on you?
We don't care if it gives you more to rap about. WE don't like it because it's a bunch of useless babbling about how many girls you talk to, *****, your "bling", blah blah blah.
Why do we think people care for our opinion? Most of us don't, really -- we express ourselves as much as you precious rappers express yourselves in your little rhyming into microphones about how you're going to murder the next person that hates on you.
In short: Get over it.

Thats not true.....apparently you dont pay attention to rap i do......i hate it but i occasionally listen to it if its good like Black Eyed peas "where is the love" k thats a good song they dont sing about us hating them accept maube eminem where he says blow em off and keep going not taking nothing form no one give em hell as long as im breathing......etc only song that ive heard ne thing about rap and haters so stfu

um i just don't like how in ALL the vidoes they ALL have half-naked ladies dancing around them.
and i don't like how ALL the songs are about sex.
