As for the discoloration, it sounds like you are just very tired or you might have a vitamin deficiency. Are you breast feeding? If so, this takes a lot out of your body. Make sure you are taking vitamins and eating healthy. I know a baby demands much, so try to rest as much as you can.
But as always, you should really check with a doctor. Give him/her a call and see what they say.

It will go away!
The problem comes from the pressure of pushing! You have broken some capiliaries in your face. This is why they tell you to stop after 10 seconds of pushing. Get an ice maskfor the swelling & it will help with the discoloration as well. You are a new mother, people will get over light black eyes!

That is normal. It's called the mask of pregnancy. Some pigments in your face can get darker, because of hormones when you are pregnant. It can be hereditary also. It does not always go away completely. You can you facial fade cream. It does help alot.

Dark circles under your eyes? From lack of sleep. or it could be from all the hormones. It pregnancy mask or chloasma. It goes away. Good luck with your "newbee"

When there is a new born at home we will go thru this because lack of sleep and tiredness will cause discolouration. u must take good rest and healthy food.
