A course is when you learn actual material like the ability to do math, put sentences together (usually a skill that is taught.) A seminar is when you observe someone else doing a task then you learn from them doing it. Most of the time they will not go step by step but, rather you have to catch on to what you are seeing. Training program is both a course and a seminar. Something that requires you learning ability and a skill.
