Depends on what your pets are!

If you have leopards then she may have a point! Or, of course, if you have three sheepdogs in a one bedroom flat on the 15th floor!

Is she worried about how you are looking after your pets? Does she have to help out and is fed up with it? Does she think they are taking up too much room? Try talking to her calmly and ask her why she thinks you can only have one pet. Then you can work out how to talk her round - or show her she is wrong! Of course, when you hear her reasons, you may think she has a point! If you do decide to get rid of some animals (or lose the argument!), take them to the RSPCA or the Blue Cross (but do not look at the animals they already have, else you may end up with more pets than you started with!)

Good luck!

Hi, it depends on 1,if its your sister you live with as it is her house or 2, she has just said that to annoy you. But i have 5 dogs, 5 cats, fish and a rabbit. You can never have to many animals as they become part of the family.

Get rid of 2 of them. 3-2=1

First, are you doing a good job of caring for your pets? One thing that offends people is animals not well-looked after. Are you prompt to clean up after them? Do you have a schedule to feed and care for them? Owning a pet, any kind, is a big responsibility. I keep a number of exotic reptiles and I know how important that others smell nothing, water dishes clean, etc.

get rid of 2 which therefore will leave you with 2. Which in turn would keep your sister happy. Or just tell your sister to mind your own business!

Ignore your sister. Go to the shire council and find out what you're allowed to have in your area. Your sister may just be being a *****.

Is your sister the boss of the house? If so, you have to do what she says. What is her reason? Can you negotiate or beg?
Sorry you have to give up your pets. Good luck.

I have 14 fish and they are happy ... one can have more than 1 pet (as long as you have the space to accommodate it).
