I'm trying to build a turtle dock for my red ear slider, I'm just wondering if is it safe to use a cyanoacrylate glue (the kind that bonds in seconds) on my aquarium?

Yes you can use this type glue if your not going to put any fish in the aquarium.

You shouldn't use that glue if the surfaces will remain wet. It can leech certain chemicals into the water that are harmful to your turtle. As was said above, use clear silicon, the type that is eating utensil safe. After it dries, this stuff is very strong and water tight, plus it's harmless to any animal.

I would not use anything but silicon. Use the silicon that is made for sealing aquariums, it has been proven safe.
