R-e-l-a-x! Stress can delay your period. As long as you aren't drastically underweight there's not likely to be anything wrong here. Start worrying if you are 14 and it hasn't come yet, and even then, only because you have a twin with the same genes who already has it. 14 isn't even unheard of.

Just because your a twin, don't mean your insides are going to do things exactly the same.
Girls start their periods anywheres from 10 years old (yes 10) to 15 yrs old.
Your body will start when ITS ready.
But to answer the other 1/2 of your question.
To have a period you must ovulate, to ovulate you must have eggs.
No eggs, No ovulation, No period, No kids.
But don't worry it's gonna be long time before your Biological clock starts ticking.....your ONLY 12.

A lot of people don't get their period until they're 16. The normal age for a girl to get their period is about 13. Since your sister's gotten it already you probably will get it soon. If you don't get it when you're 16, then you need to see a doctor.

Please don't worry yourself. Your period will start when the time is right. I know how you feel though. I was the last of my friends to get my period. I felt like I was being excluded from some kind of exclusive club. My period started when I was 15, and I went on to have 4 healthy children. If you are truly concerned you could always ask your doctor at your annual check-up. I guarantee you he won't think there is anything at all wrong with you.

Don't worry about it yet! :) I started my period at age 10 but my sister didn't start hers until she was 14. A lot of things factor into this, such as body type, diet, fitness or just random stuff. For example, a really athletic person usually starts their period later. I remember a lot of my friends getting theirs around age 12 or 13. I'm sure it'll happen soon for you, but for now, just enjoy being period-free! Cramps are no fun, trust me! :)

Oh hun, don't worry. Every girl develops at differently. (even twins) I didn't get mine until I was 14. Most of my friends were the same. There were a few that were much earlier, but really there is no need to worry about that now.

Dont worry your bodies is different from you sisters. My own sister had a small problem and she was 16 before it happened. you may need to talk to your parents to set up an Doctor appointment just to make sure nothing is wrong.
