I realized a long time ago that the Yahoo! Answers crowd seems to be grotesquely anti-piercing.
Never get something pierced because someone else told you it looks good or not. You should get piercings because you find them attractive or meaningful.
Visit tribalectic.com and go to the piercing forums. At least there you will find a group of people that are like-minded and who will have positive experiences and advice to share.

Just do what makes "YOU" feel comfortable. As for attractive...in my opinion....it adds to, nor takes away from attraction. For myself, attraction to a woman is far more than the physical..it is their personality and characteristics as a whole. The outward stuff on each of us..is merely wrapping...for the true gifts lie within.
However..should you decide to get your belly button pierced. Please do your research and weigh the pros and cons. Maybe speak with a friend who has it done already. Importantly..by far, go to a trusted, clean, reliable professional to get this procedure..it is reversible..but you should be concerned with issues like sterile instruments...good luck to you!!!!!

They look sexy but I would think they would be a hassle with catching on clothes and stuff. Not real sure how they go about keeping it clean and free from infection in the first place. I would check with someone who has had it done and find out where and stuff.

I don't really like them. I've noticed all the skanks tend to have them, lol. Not that I'm saying only skanks do it, but everytime I see a pierced belly button, I think of the skanks.

it's about as sexy as going to a hardware store. anything other than one pair of ear-ring holes makes you look like a cannibal from a nation geographic magazine

ok, i'm not gay or anything, but most guys think it is very sexy! ..or not lol. but i do know a lot of guys who love it but they are very immature. get it done at a proffesional and make sure they are clean
