Inaugural Class (or lack of class?) in "Pooperstown", NY

Barry Bonds - the poster boy for the steroid era, along with Canseco, Grimsley, Sosa, McGwire, etc.
Pete Rose - King of Denial
Steve Bartman - I'm sorry, but have you ever seen anyone look so oblivious?
John Rocker - Just for being a racist idiot
Ty Cobb - Great, great player but also a racist buffoon
All the owners who kept the game segregated for so long...

John Rocker - Your SI column in an All-Star Season isn't the place to decide you hate half of the MLB for not being white.

Rick Ankiel - From phenom pitcher to mediocre minor leaguer. Still can't crack the Card's lineup.

Bill Buckner - Mookie Wilson owes you one. BTW, thanks for the World Series

Tom Gordon - The Yankees need you in game 7 of the ALCS after losing games 4, 5 and 6 to the hated Red Sox, and you feign illness to get out of pitching? Wow.

The entire 2004 Tigers

All the 1962 Mets

The entire list of Royals over the last 10 years.

Jose Canseco

Carl Pavano - I love this man. Gets a monster contract, gets injured every second of the day.

George Steinbrenner - You're fielding a baseball team worth more than some multinational corporations, and you still can't win. Shameful.

This was an infamous play by Brant Brown of the Chicago Cubs, if you have seen the play youll never forget the reaction it got in the news. Besides this play Brant Brown wasnt a bad player once hitting 3 hrs in 4 at bats during a game.

September 23, 1998, Brown drops a routine fly ball in the bottom of the ninth with two outs and the bases loaded and his team leading by two runs. The winning run scores easily on the play, and the Cubs stay tied for the lead in the wildcard when they could have lead by a game with only three games to go. The radio call of this play by Cubs radio announcers Pat Hughes and Ron Santo has since become synonymous with the Cubs' perennial underperformance. Ironically, the error came 90 years to the day of Fred Merkle's baserunning mistake, which led to the Cubs ultimately winning the National League pennant and, to date, their last World Series title.
