Has anyone ever had an restraining order on someone and then you want to drop it for serious reasons?if so please explain what your restraing was for and what you said to the judge for him to drop it...Thankyou so much...serious answers please.....

A restraining order is to stop someone from doing something and if you want it lifted, then just ask the court that you are withdrawing your request for the restraining order.

Hello there, let me start by saying I'm Quentin and its nice to meet you. My Mother, Sister, and myself have a restraining order against my father for a history of physical violence... when it was filed I was told that it could be removed at anytime by the defendant... I would suggest going to the local court house and just make a request tot he judge..

if you have a restraining order on someone keep it...the judge won't drop it anyway...ususally restraining orders are granted for very good reasons....the judge won't like you wasting the court's time to grant one and then change you mind later...
