Doesn't look like she was. I found no obituary in the Oregonian newspaper (where it would have most likely been run) and did find the following reference on Google (I searched on "Robyn Hinnant") and viewed the HTML file to see it)

"Robyn Hinnant! Robyn is in Oregon currently and has just acquired her CFI. Way to go Robyn!" From a July 2005 newsletter of the Women Pilot's Association.
