I've got a friend who was in a terrible accident on Saturday, July 29th and was T-boned by an 18 wheeler on the driver's side. She's been in the hospital in critical condition unconsious since the wreck. She's broken her neck, broken every rib on the left side of her body, had her spleen removed, broken all of the bones in her legs and all the ones in her left foot. Her left arm is broken and she has clotting in her brain... They're telling the parents that it doesn't look good but that they're doing all that they can. For now, she's unconsious... but heaven help her, if she gets better (I worked with and went to highschool with her) my friends and I are trying to think of something to do for her to show her how much she means to us and how much we all love her... Any ideas on something that would cheer her up if she makes it? (we're going to give her some space for a while, we know her family needs to be with her... nothing before she gets out of the ICU...)

Thank you so much :)

Oh my...
First, I would like to say that I am truly, truly sorry and that your friend will be in my prayers tonight.

Second, between you and your other friends I am assuming you know her very well. It needs to be something personal, you know? So all of you put your heads together and ask yourselves..."If she could, what would she ---?" Fill it in with do or have or change the what to where.

You will think of something, but right now you just need to be there for her in her time of need. Help out her family by bringing them relief (meals, coffee, water, books/magazines to read, take their place while they get some sleep or take a shower or take a restroom break). I am assuming that they haven't left her side...or gone far from it anyway.

Best wishes...

Oh, I feel very sorry for what had happened to her. I think one best ways to cheer her up is to do the things that she likes to do the most...for example if she likes going to the park and having a picnic, then take her. It's also nice to cook or bring for her food that she likes eating. So think of the things that you know she's fond of doing, even the smallest stuffs. God bless her.
