For the mentally handicapped, an incomplete abortion is when the woman miscarries but only a portion of the baby and placenta are expelled from the uterus. Please know what you are talking about before you answer questions.
It is not safe for you for the baby and/or placenta to remain in your uterus. Since the cervix opened to miscarry to some extent. Therefore there is a chance of infection since your cervix was or still is open. You need to see your OBGYN. He or she will be able to schedule a D&C to have the rest removed, then they will most likely put you on some meds to control bleeding, pain and an antibotic to ward off infection. Good luck and I am sorry for your loss.

Are you English/British? American term is miscarriage, which is what I'll assume you're talking about, as I've never heard of an incomplete abortion. But no. If any part of the baby, placenta, or sac is left behind then you must have a D&C in order to remove what's left or it will cause complications.

I would say not. If you had one then if the rest of the fetus doesnt come out or you have heavy bleeding and severe pain you should probably go the the ER.

As for Mrs L. it is called a spontaneous abortion!!!!

I have had a miscarriage with a D&C too.

Do you propose an incomplete spontaneous abortion (miscarriage)? you would be able to ought to examine with an OB/GYN healthcare expert considering you would be able to decide for a D&C, that's the place the healthcare expert is going in and eliminates any factor that did no longer bypass via itself.

No....
If the baby is still in there or some of it is that could cause infection. It's got to come out.

NO !!!
What really happenned?
If the baby is still alive, it is in mortal trauma.
If (God forbid) it is dead, this is still unsafe for the mother.
Get (Obstetric) help immediately.
